The August Tempest Trail+ does begin in the middle of all of this, so there's more orbs to be collected from there. Also looking forward to what the CYL2 refines are, though I won't be actively summoning for Veronica or Brave Hector for a very long time most likely. With Flying Nino on a late revival banner, that's something I'll have to keep in mind as well. Pirate Theme Special Heroes Tibarn Brigid Geese (Likely 4*) Harmoinic Heroes Veronica and Xander Darros (TT+ unit) Starts on 8/7 Update Info QoL for taller screens. Empty spaces now contain info such as how many codes you have or which turn it is during battle(And how many you have on turn limit maps), as well as items you have in Resonate Battle(For... anyone who cares about that mode?). Arena is getting new maps. All of them have at least one defense tile. While there's no talk of map removal, hopefully they use this as an excuse to never use the double wall map again. And lastly, summoning pool changes! Gen 2 heroes are getting the Thantos snap from the summoning pool. These heroes are.. Red: Siegbert, Leif, Zelgius, Lene, Mage Eirika, Karla, Fallen Celicia, Flying Olivia, Horse Chrom, Brave Celica, Swordhart, Blue: Shiro, Micaiah, Ishtar, Sumia, Morgan, Brave Hector Green: Rhajat, Kana, Flying Nino, Myrrh, Grima, Brave Ephraim, Olwen Colorless: Hinoka, Maribelle, Veronica They'll be getting revival banners of course. I believe they're going to be alongside the gen 1 revival banners? CYL 2 Heroes will also be getting refines. They don't tell us exactly what they do in the video, but Celica appears to heal after after she defeats an enemy. She also gains a special charge afterwards, which activates her Galeforce in the video. So healing + special charge? Ephriam heals 7 damage every time he attacks. He likely does more, but what is uncertain at this time. They'll likely go over it in the next Feh channel, scheduled mid August. Feh's Summer Celebration 3 and a half anniversary. We know how most of this works now. Login Bonus for up to 20 orbs, as well as 60 of each flower and grails. Reward maps, clear normal and hard mode for 10 maps for up to 20 orbs. Daily Bound Hero Battles. Some BHB maps are a day or so, some of them give orbs. Summer Celebration quest which gives up to 10 orbs, 100 grails, 120 Divine Codes(1) and... 10 coins. Total orbs from all of these are 55. So I guess 5 of the BHB gives orbs? Daily summoning focus revivals, so lots of free pulls(Or your chance to get a particular hero) Hero Fest! 8% Focus. Summon pool changes start with this banner. Red: Sothis Blue: Duo Ephriam Green: Nagi Colorless: Bernadetta We also get 5 free summon tickets just for logging in, and thankfully all at once. This banner will also replace the old Starter Hero Fest banner for new summoners(Previously the units were Tibarn, Nailah, Surtr, and Fallen Tiki). Reward Rundown 60 Flowers 160 Grails 10 Sacred Coins 120 Divine Codes(1) 19 free summons 55 orbs. Overall, looks solid. Of course this is coming right before the CYL 4 units are released so... keep that in mind if you're waiting for one of those. --- |

The benefit of auto dispatch is that you can get some easy lift with basically no effort. You also get the item of the day if you haven't had a battle yet. More importantly you need to recognize when it's not going to happen this time around. Don't fall into the trap of being stuck at like +7 and going "I have to finish this now!". Heroes will reappear on different banners, so if you can't get what you want the first time there's always another time. --- |

Maybe one day Gamefreak or someone else who borrows the Pokemon franchise will make a pure grimdark game and surprise us all. Well there was the Colosseum games with Genius Sonority. You and the Pokemon forming a powerful bond to make the Pokemon even stronger. Giving new life to certain Pokemon was also nice(Beedril being viable?)... But then in Sun and Moon, Megas got Pokedex entries, many of them have less than comforting entries. Granted this could just be due to Sun and Moon having grimmer Pokedex entries in general(Being far less afraid to talk about Pokemon killing other Pokemon, or being deadly in general like Gengar.) A few examples... Mega Scizor It stores the excess energy from Mega Evolution, so after a long time passes, its body starts to melt. Mega Tyranitar Due to the colossal power poured into it, this Pokmon's back split right open. Its destructive instincts are the only thing keeping it moving. Mega Lucario It readies itself to face its enemies by focusing its mental energies. Its fighting style can be summed up in a single word: heartless. Mega Salamence Mega Evolution fuels its brutality, and it may even turn on the Trainer who raised it. It's been dubbed "the blood-soaked crescent." Mega Gengar It tries to take the lives of anyone and everyone. It will even try to curse the Trainer who is its master! Some of these entries would be more fitting for Shadow Pokemon, not Mega Evolution wouldn't it? At no point in X/Y/OR/AS are you told that Mega Evolution is hurting your Pokemon or driving it crazy or anything like that. Tyranitar has another entry that suggests it can't even hear your orders anymore. Glalie's jaw is broken, Houndoom's internal temperature is so high that it's hurting it. I will admit that I don't read the manga so if that's how it's always worked there then fine. I'm also aware that there was a plot point of Korrina's Lucario losing its mind during Mega Evolution in the anime, but that was implied to be because it wasn't strong enough to control it yet rather than it being what's supposed to happen(Gurkinn's Lucario is in full control during Mega Evolution). Z moves were dropped far more casually, but those aren't about the Pokemon itself. Was there ever an explanation over this change from "Deep bond with your Pokemon" to "Literally wants to murder people"? --- |

The Four Fangs + two Dark Heroes for lift reduction and stats(Bramimond is from 7 so technically Sothis is the only one that doesn't fit but..) Managed to kill two Brave Ike end turn users after making a few modifications. I'm happy that Lloyd seems to be working fairly well. He has tanked things I was not expecting him to tank. Two kills means I don't lose lift either so that's nice. If anyone wants to mock battle my Dark team, feel free to check it out. --- |
